Peggy began painting in 2003. Her interest blossomed into a passion. She paints every day in her private studio.

Peggy has painted with The Plein Air Painters of the Southeast, studied with Andrew Petrov in the Provence region of France, Karen Hewitt Hagan and Hilarie Lambert in Tuscany, and Jeanne MacKenzie in Venice.

She has also received instruction from Robert Johnson, Roger Dale Brown, Dee Baird Dean, Perry Austin, Dawn Whitelaw, Vickie McMurry, Anne Blair Brown, Loryn Brazier and Paula Frizbe.

Her works adorn the walls of homes and institutions from Europe to America. She markets her paintings in the restaurants and retail stores of central Virginia.

Peggy has the knack of being able to capture the unique beauty in the ordinary activities of her subjects, be they animals, café scenes, landscapes, cityscapes, or the village markets of France and Italy..
